We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to join our team at AMR Corp.
About the Role:As an AEMT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings. This includes responding to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance, assessing patients, determining necessary care, and delivering emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient assessments, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AEMTs.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Drivers License
- National or State AEMT certification
- CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
