Jewelry Repair and MaintenanceAt Helzberg Diamonds, we are seeking a skilled Jewelry Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality jewelry repair services to our clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the effective movement of client repairs while maintaining a high level of quality and turn-around time.
- Ensure that gold stock, findings, and loose stones are properly maintained and accounted for by accurately completing paperwork and storing supplies.
- Contribute to maximizing the financial return of precious metal recoveries by following proper asset recovery procedures.
- Adhere to all safety-related procedures to reduce the risk of accidents.
- Ensure consistency in communicating repair information by assisting in training store associates concerning repair policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two to four years of related experience or training.
- Advanced knowledge of jeweler's tools, machinery, and equipment, as well as advanced jewelry repair knowledge.
- Ability to be a good decision maker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay rate of $17.00 to $27.00.
