Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team at AdventHealth Central Florida. As a collaborative practitioner, you will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient cardiology setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology and experience working in an outpatient setting. You will be responsible for performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and monitoring patient care. Additionally, you will collaborate with physicians and staff to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform physical examinations and monitor patient care in the outpatient setting
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory and X-ray
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff
  • Display a caring and professional attitude at all times, and maintain personal and professional growth
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies
  • Cardiology APRN or PA-C experience preferred
  • Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license
  • ANCC, AANP or NCCPA certification required
  • Current BLS and ACLS
  • Current, valid Florida DEA
