Responsibilities
  • Assist the Physician/RN with exams and treatments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in sick call with a Physician to evaluate and treat inmates, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Prepare inmates for examination, ensuring the exam room and equipment are properly set up and sanitized.
  • Dispense medications and maintain accurate records, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Control medications and syringes in inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements
  • Over a year of correctional nursing experience, with a strong understanding of facility policies and procedures.
  • WA or Multistate LPN License in good standing, with active BLS certification.
