Kiddie Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Educator who possesses a genuine passion for nurturing young minds. Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, an Associate's Degree, a Bachelor's Degree, or 60 college credits including 6 credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute engaging lesson plans and activities tailored for preschool-aged children.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and development.
  • Encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth through interactive play-based learning.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and any pertinent issues.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff to provide a comprehensive and enriching educational experience.
  • Keep the classroom organized and well-maintained.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines for childcare facilities.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in a daycare or preschool setting working with young children.
  • Understanding of child development theories and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to develop engaging lesson plans that align with educational goals.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong organizational skills for planning and executing daily activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
