Role Overview
As a dedicated and skilled ICU Nurse, you will provide essential critical care and outstanding patient support within our intensive care unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize nursing care for critically ill patients based on thorough assessments and identified needs.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to make informed nursing decisions and address healthcare requirements.
- Evaluate and document patient responses to medications, interventions, and procedures.
- Collaborate in the development and execution of individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor basic EKG, recognize rhythms, and intervene as necessary.
- Assist physicians with procedures such as intubation and line placements.
- Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other critical equipment.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred; must obtain within 7 days of hire.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required.
