Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Dispatcher to join our team at the City of Macedonia. As an integral part of our public safety services, you will play a crucial role in responding to emergency calls and providing critical support to our police, fire, and rescue teams.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary range of $23.85-$29.68 per hour, depending on prior experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes hospitalization, dental, and vision insurance, prescription coverage, paid vacation time, and more.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must be currently employed as a full-time Classified Civil Service Police, Fire & EMS Dispatcher with a minimum of two years' full-time experience. They must also hold current LEADS and EMD certifications, and be willing to undergo psychological, physical, and polygraph tests.

Please note that all applicants must be non-smokers and remain so throughout their employment with the City of Macedonia.
