Job Summary

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant Float III to join our team at Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient care, including assisting patients with activities of daily living, under the supervision of an RN. You will also float to all departments who utilize the NA role within our base facility as well as the sister facility based on staffing needs each shift.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assisting patients with activities of daily living, under the supervision of an RN.
  • Float to all departments who utilize the NA role within our base facility as well as the sister facility based on staffing needs each shift.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certificate.
  • Current AZ CNA certification, Current AZ LNA, or documentation of successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training program.
  • Ability to operate copier, scanner, and fax machines.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Acute care experience.
  • Electronic medical record (EMR) experience or Cerner experience.
