About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a Technician II, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle maintenance technologies and procedures
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
