Renal Nurse Specialist

As a Renal Nurse Specialist at Equiliem, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with kidney disease, including those undergoing kidney transplant. You will work closely with a team of board-certified nephrologists, transplant surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver specialized care to patients with unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide age and culturally specific patient care and education to patients with kidney disease and their families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing kidney transplant.
- Utilize knowledge of renal physiology and pathophysiology to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
- Participate in delivery of specialized care for patients who qualify for cutting-edge pharmacologic research studies under the supervision of nephrologists, transplant surgeons, and clinical pharmacologists.
Requirements:
- 2 years of medical-surgical experience, with a preference for renal experience.
- Ohio RN license or Compact.
- BLS (American Heart Assoc.) and ACLS (American Heart Assoc.) certifications.
