About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our Ads Platform team at King. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing a scalable and reliable Ads & Monetization platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a robust Ads & Monetization platform using Java and cloud-based technologies
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop system architecture and ensure operational excellence
  • Work on cross-functional projects with Product and engineering teams to drive business growth
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure the successful implementation of DevOps practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in leading web services development using Java
  • Proficiency with AdTech platforms and NoSQL systems
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like Google Cloud and AWS
  • Experience with Java, JMeter, and streaming technologies
  • Skills in designing frontend and backend architecture
  • Great interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD and test automation tools
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Google BigQuery
  • Passionate about usability, maintainability, and long-term quality
