Inventory Coordinator - Ace Hardware
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Ace Hardware. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing transactions, and ensuring seamless store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure data accuracy within the system to maintain adequate inventory levels
Print and process Negative Reports and make corrections as necessary
Process Count-Correction-Sheets and make corrections in inventory system
Monitor Outs to ensure store maintains a rate in accordance with company standards
Process defectives and temporary outs
Process Mango Count Sheets and exception reports
Monitor shrinkage, recommend ways to reduce theft and breakage, and make corrections in inventory system
Identify obsolete inventory, determine how to best remove it, and assist store management with the liquidation process
Train store staff on inventory management best practices
Maintain accuracy of all location codes
Collaborate with Receivers and Cashiers to help identify errors and correct them as necessary
Print bin tags (labels) as requested
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years prior receiving experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to work independently yet have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other team members and leadership
Knowledgeably communicate with service vendors
Ability to understand proper retail receiving
Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Basic computer knowledge
Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred
Ability to operate a forklift
Possession of a valid State License with a clean driving record in accordance with company's insurance carrier's standards
Availability:
All positions require open availability and no special accommodations can be made or guaranteed. Crew Schedules are determined by business needs therefore all schedules must be flexible. This position is variable, which means changing schedules are a requirement of this job.
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift up to 60 pounds. Requires you to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
Salary Description:
$10.00-$15.00 hourly based on skills & experience
