Windy Hill Orchard, Inc. is seeking highly skilled and physically able Farm Laborers to join our team. As a Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for manually planting, cultivating, and harvesting fruits and vegetables, including apples, pumpkins, and grapes.

• Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops using hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives.
• Till soil and apply fertilizers and pesticides to crops.
• Transplant, weed, thin, and prune crops.
• Construct trellises, repair fences, and farm buildings.
• Set up and operate irrigation equipment.
• Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow, and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray, harvest, and haul crops.
• Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.
• Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand.

• 3 months of verifiable experience in farm labor.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Physical ability to handle ladders up to 24' long and weighing about 2 lbs per foot.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, extensive walking, and frequent stooping.

• 4 days of training to allow workers to pick a minimum of 90 bu boxes of apples per day with no more than 4% bruising.
