Job Summary:

As a Load Builder at Builders FirstSource, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to loading and unloading materials, driving lifting devices, and building loads. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform loading and unloading of materials onto or from pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles, and install strapping as needed.
  • Drive various lifting devices to move products, equipment, or materials around the warehouse, shop, or yard.
  • Determine the appropriate weight, composition, and placement of loads to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as material handling or logistics.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
