Recreational Therapist

Arbor View Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Specialist to join our team. As an Activities Specialist, you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for our residents.

• Program Planning and Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
• Resident Engagement: Foster a sense of community and belonging among residents by facilitating social interactions, group activities, and one-to-one engagement.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Activity Director and other team members to ensure seamless program delivery and resident satisfaction.
• Program Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of activity programs and make recommendations for improvement.

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related position, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Aptitude for arts and crafts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
