Job Summary

ABM is seeking a skilled Corrugate Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain buildings and facilities, including floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, and management.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company and regulatory authorities.
  • Task Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to complete all tasks assigned.
Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust and polish furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; clean ceilings and dust and polish light fixtures. Wash and replace blinds.
  • Moving and Storage: Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks.
  • Stain Removal: Remove stains from surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
  • Cleaning Solutions: Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Floor Care: Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Carpet Care: Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.
  • Trash and Recycling: Gather and empty trash.
  • Food Area Cleaning: Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
  • Furniture and Fixtures: Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Overhead Vent Cleaning: Periodically clean overhead vents, dust blinds, and polish wood furniture.
  • Glass and Mirror Cleaning: Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Pest Control: Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
  • Event Setup: Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
  • Basic Repairs: May be expected to make basic repairs.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Work History: Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience preferred.
  • Similar Work Experience: 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
