We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow QA Engineer to join our team at Resource Informatics Group. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our ServiceNow implementations and integrations.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with ServiceNow and 5-6 years of overall experience in software testing. The successful candidate will work closely with development, business, and functional teams to validate solutions and ensure they meet the highest standards.
The key responsibilities of this role include designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, etc.). You will also perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on ServiceNow applications, including configurations and customizations.
In addition, you will collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate test coverage. You will leverage automated testing tools (e.g., ATF, Selenium) to build efficient testing processes and test ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, scripts, and UI policies to ensure that all implementations meet specified requirements.
You will also perform API testing and data validation for integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, identify, track, and report defects in JIRA or a similar bug-tracking tool, and ensure timely resolution. Furthermore, you will participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide input on user stories and acceptance criteria from a QA perspective.
This role requires a strong understanding of various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM) and the ability to test both out-of-the-box features and custom applications. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and proficiency in defect management and test case management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, TestRail) is also essential. Solid experience in manual testing and the ability to transition to test automation are also required. Experience working in Agile development environments and knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) are highly valued.
