Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in achieving their communication and academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the speech and language needs of students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting.
  • Offer guidance and training to teachers and staff on speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure or the ability to obtain licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
