Job Description:
Azure Data Architect-Denver

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join our team at Georgia IT Inc. in Denver, CO or Remote (Mountain time zone). This is a 6-month contract position with a competitive rate of $140,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-volume data ingestion components and cloud architecture solutions using Big Data tools and frameworks. You will also administer the overall data strategy, architectures, and security, as well as implement business rules and transformations as processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Azure Data Architect to lead technology solutions, data architectures, data warehouse, cloud, and infrastructure initiatives. If you have a strong background in data governance, security standards, and models, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop high-volume data ingestion components and cloud architecture solutions

* Monitor performance and advise necessary infrastructure changes

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering
* Expertise in Azure Data Services, including Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics
* Experience with Big Data tools and frameworks, such as Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Flink
* Strong understanding of data governance, security standards, and models
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
