This role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and functionality within our facilities. The position reports directly to the Senior Business and Project Manager and requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our BestPLUS recycled plastic lumber initiative, which transforms waste materials into high-quality plastic lumber for various applications. Our innovative solutions have garnered positive feedback from our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispose of waste and refuse from both interior and exterior areas.
- Clear walkways and sidewalks during winter conditions.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect all restroom facilities, including floors, toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Maintain bare floors through sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Ensure carpeted areas are vacuumed and cleaned regularly.
- Sanitize tables, desks, chairs, and kitchen appliances, including countertops and coffee machines.
- Restock kitchen supplies such as plates, cups, utensils, and condiments.
- Clean walls, fixtures, windows, and glass doors to maintain a pristine environment.
- Remove debris from outdoor areas, including green spaces and parking lots.
- Conduct safety inspections of all areas, including lighting and emergency exits, and report any issues.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Replace light bulbs as needed.
- Assess buildings for maintenance needs and communicate deficiencies to management.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Capability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day.
- Self-driven individual with a strong willingness to learn.
