About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the daily operation of early stage Manipulation workcells, ensuring seamless coordination between onsite and remote teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing changes and testing new procedures.
  • Collaborate with remote hardware and software development teams to ensure efficient product development and implementation.
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues in robotic and automated equipment.
  • Conduct planned maintenance activities, including hardware preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Install hardware changes and provide documentation as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with onsite parties to meet priorities and deadlines.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in robotics engineering, automation, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
