Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and synthesize clinical findings to optimize patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
- Integrate theory, research, and critical thinking in the delivery of care to patients and families, serving as a resource in complex situations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, develop, implement, and coordinate patient care plans based on findings and patient needs.
- Perform physical examinations, including disease-specific exams, and correctly identify abnormalities.
- Order diagnostic tests, review results, and identify findings requiring intervention or follow-up.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, explaining procedures, treatments, and medications within the scope of clinical practice.
- MSN from an accredited school of nursing (NP requirement)
- Obtain and maintain NP licenses in New York and CT
- FNP required
- Obtain and maintain board certification as a NP in specialty area of practice
- BLS/ACLS via American Heart Association
- DEA
- BS or MS in Physician Studies from an accredited program (PA requirement)
- NCCPA certification
- Obtain and maintain PA licenses in New York and CT
- BLS/ACLS via AHA
- Infection Control Certificate
- Child Abuse Mandate
- Three years of experience and use of Epic EMR and Orthopedic-based practice preferred
