About the Role

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team as Private Duty RNs in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Patient Care: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
  • Documentation: Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
  • Interventions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
  • Evaluation and Revision: Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Clinical Judgment: Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other RN or LPN duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices, Current PPD or Chest X-Ray, and Current BLS card.
  • Experience: One year prior Nurse experience preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Enteral Feeds: Ability to administer enteral feeds to patients.
  • Tracheostomy Care: Experience in tracheostomy care and management.
  • Ventilator Management: Knowledge and skills in ventilator management.
Schedule and Availability
  • Shift Options: Full-time, Part-time, Day shifts, NOC shifts, 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
