Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Class Daily to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload freight, and assist in the loading and unloading of freight as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of trips, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • At least 9 months of experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
