Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Mercy Hospital Stoddard. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing patient admissions, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, including admission, evaluation, and management of patients in the hospital setting
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Manage patient admissions, including ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital operations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices in hospital medicine
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Missouri
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Competitive base salary and quarterly bonus
- Attractive block schedule of 7 on 7 off (7am-7pm)
