Policy Writer

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Policy Writer to join their team. As a Policy Writer, you will be responsible for creating detailed and precise policies that support controls noted for related compliance guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable documents.

• Develop and maintain company policies that are clear, concise, and free of jargon.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure that Statements of Work (SOWs) are comprehensive and aligned with project goals.
• Research and analyze industry best practices and incorporate them into policy documents to ensure they meet current standards and requirements.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and project needs.
• Assist in the development of templates and guidelines for SOWs and other policy documents to streamline the writing process and ensure consistency.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Policy Writer, Compliance Specialist, or in a related role, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and syntax.
• Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with document management systems.
