Autism Intervention Specialist

Job Summary

Independent Case Management is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children who have autism in their home, implementing evidence-based intervention strategies as outlined by the client's Individual Treatment Plan (ITP).

Daily Responsibilities

  • Implement ITP strategies in a home-based setting
  • Record data according to the ITP
  • Report issues and/or concerns relating to family, client, or team to the supervisor
  • Report progress and/or concerns to the Consultant

Weekly Requirements

  • Work between 20 and 25 hours per week in the client's home
  • Work towards all program goals on the client's data form during each session unless otherwise specified by the Lead Behavior Technician and/or Consultant

Education

A high school diploma or GED is required. A minimum of two (2) years' experience working directly with children or children with autism is also required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children and have a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is recommended but not required.
