PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate the floor scrubber in both automatic and manual settings to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse floor on a weekly basis.
  • Conduct regular inspections throughout the warehouse to collect and properly dispose of trash and recyclable materials.
  • Utilize the baler for compacting loose cardboard, staging completed bales for collection.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, including end-of-shift cleaning duties.
  • Assess workplace conditions daily to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Grimco's safety standards.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification (at company expense) within a month.
  • Capability to pass a criminal background check.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing over 70 pounds frequently.
  • Requires prolonged periods of standing or walking, with frequent bending and reaching.
  • Must have full physical mobility to operate manual and powered tools and equipment.
