Job Summary:
A leading land surveying and mapping company, Synerfac, is seeking an experienced Party Chief to lead a survey crew working on various projects throughout Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying and mapping, with previous experience working on FDOT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform survey work using GPS and Total Station technology
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve project goals
- Accurately document all work, maintaining detailed field notes and providing current data to the office team
- Stay up-to-date with advanced surveying techniques and best practices
Requirements:
- Experience working on FDOT projects, with a strong understanding of topographic survey principles
- US citizenship or green card holder
- Knowledge of field surveying practices and procedures
- Background check and drug test required
- 2-3 years of experience working as a Party Chief with a surveying firm
- Proficiency in field data collection programs, such as Captiva, EFB, TDS, Husky, or related software
- Ability to travel to different project locations in Florida on a consistent basis, with a company-provided work truck and mileage reimbursement
