Job Summary:

A leading land surveying and mapping company, Synerfac, is seeking an experienced Party Chief to lead a survey crew working on various projects throughout Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying and mapping, with previous experience working on FDOT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform survey work using GPS and Total Station technology
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve project goals
  • Accurately document all work, maintaining detailed field notes and providing current data to the office team
  • Stay up-to-date with advanced surveying techniques and best practices

Requirements:

  • Experience working on FDOT projects, with a strong understanding of topographic survey principles
  • US citizenship or green card holder
  • Knowledge of field surveying practices and procedures
  • Background check and drug test required
  • 2-3 years of experience working as a Party Chief with a surveying firm
  • Proficiency in field data collection programs, such as Captiva, EFB, TDS, Husky, or related software
  • Ability to travel to different project locations in Florida on a consistent basis, with a company-provided work truck and mileage reimbursement
