Job Title: Controls Systems Specialist

Job Summary:

LATICRETE International is seeking a highly skilled Controls Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting plant-wide instrumentation and control systems, HMI and SCADA systems, and manufacturing data management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement control system design, replacement, and upgrade initiatives to improve overall operations.
  • Design, develop, and implement CAPEX projects, including control system design, replacement, and upgrade initiatives.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and non-value-added activities.
  • Provide technical support on production, product, and quality issues.
  • Manage and collect manufacturing data, analyze data, and ensure process harmonization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Computer, Controls, or Science field from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with PLC programming, control systems implementation, design, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with industrial application programming languages, electrical schematics, and SCADA programming.
  • Strong analytical, design, and technical skills, with the ability to process volumes of information and extract information to enhance systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
