Estimated Salary: $41,500 - $51,500 per yearJob Responsibilities:
  1. Test and troubleshoot electrical systems using specialized tools to identify issues and ensure safety and compatibility.
  2. Record actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis, and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation.
  3. Perform repairs by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.
  4. Conduct conduit bending and utilize ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems in residential homes, roadside poles, and commercial properties.
  5. Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess the situation, and provide instructions to individuals affected by the electrical emergency to ensure their continued safety and comfort.
  6. Maintain equipment to guarantee safe operation and report any issues to the supervisor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Finished electrician apprenticeship.
  • Holds a current (unexpired) California Journeyman Electrician Card.
  • Has proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license.
  • Can read blueprints.
  • Possesses a valid state license.
