About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our Application Tube business in the US and Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and fostering a culture of excellence within our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver substantial volume and profitability growth targets through strategic sales management and new business development.
  • Accelerate identification and development of new market segments, applications, and customers.
  • Expand portfolio of high-performing alloys through new product development and effective market introduction.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve substantial business growth.
  • Attract and hire talent, develop employees, and provide growth opportunities for high-potential employees.
  • Drive cross-regional collaboration and generate growth of the global Alleima business.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers to grow market share and develop new market segments, applications, and customers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape, identify growth opportunities, and adapt sales strategies to meet current and anticipated market conditions and needs.
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in managing multimillion-dollar portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, excellent sales and people development skills, and the ability to build relationships and identify new opportunities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, and/or Marketing. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum ten years of Sales & Marketing background from the metals and/or chemical & petrochemical industry managing multimillion-dollar portfolios.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of sales professionals with demonstrated success in achieving growth and profitability.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Ability to find new ways of working and lead change.
  • Robust negotiation, strategy development, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing distribution and project-based sales.
  • Confident, independent, and able to articulate effectively at various hierarchical levels.
  • Ability to influence global strategy and work cross-regionally.
  • Proven experience in new product development and new product market launches.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, command of Spanish or Swedish is a plus.
