Per-diem Waitstaff

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Per-diem Waitstaff to join our team at the College of the Holy Cross. As a Per-diem Waitstaff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth execution of catering events.

• Set up and break down catering events at various campus locations and off-campus locations, adhering to the venue's specific requirements.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Interact with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner, representing the College and the Dining department.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health code procedures and protocols.
• Work independently and efficiently to meet department-wide needs, with flexibility to work at various locations on campus as directed by the supervisor.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to become TIPS certified and maintain certification.

This position is classified as a non-exempt level position for purposes of the federal wage and hour law. The College offers a competitive base pay plus generous gratuities.
