We are seeking an experienced engineer to develop advanced inertial tracking algorithms for our fire control product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or applied mathematics. With 5-8 years of experience in algorithm development and analysis, this engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing complex models and simulations, evaluating system performance in various scenarios, and verifying system and subsystem level requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent programming skills in C++, Matlab, or Python, with the ability to translate them to C++ development in a Linux environment. They will also possess expertise in linear algebra software packages, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) techniques, electro-optical/infrared detection (EOIR) technology, optics, and principles of radiometry. Additionally, they should demonstrate proficiency in math related to Kalman filtering, optimal state estimation, linear algebra, probability, statistics, and multivariate calculus.

As a key member of our team, this engineer will be comfortable developing and presenting technical material to internal leadership and external customers. They will work collaboratively with subject matter experts from diverse academic backgrounds and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for navigation and inertial tracking systems.

Salary: $55-65/hr
