About the Program

Mental Health Specialist II (MHS 2) work in our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) programs, serving individuals with intensive, interfering behavioral and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health services to individuals with complex behavioral and mental health needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify individual needs and develop strategies for improvement
  • Provide education and support to individuals, families, and caregivers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling)
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral and mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
