Position Overview:
Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Lockbox Operations Specialist to support our client in managing cash processing operations. This role presents a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 and offers the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position following the completion of the contract.
Work Schedule:
- Regular Shift: Friday to Monday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Training Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM for a duration of 2 weeks

Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in banking operations is preferred
- Proficient in computer usage and office equipment
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
Core Responsibilities:
- Accurately process cash received via image capture, ensuring proper logging, recording, and secure storage.
- Operate low-speed machinery to re-scan any rejected check items.
- Utilize desktop scanners for rescanning batches and inserting necessary documents into imaged batches.
- Restructure batches as required to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Manage multiple queues, making independent decisions on client exception items and monitoring check encoding queues.
- Occasionally perform print retrieval, reassociation, and mailing of client packages.
- Batch and prepare non-image cash letters for shipment and distribute received merchandise.
- Utilize the Outbound Mail system for labeling closed mail and merchandise, as well as for addressing foreign items.
- Meet client deadlines for transactions requiring client input.
- Respond to customer service requests for timely retrieval of retained documents.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and PCI standards.
- Proactively identify and manage risks in accordance with the established Risk Framework.
Compensation Details:
The hourly wage for this position is $18.00.
