Cedar Haven Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality food service experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist cooks with food preparation duties, including peeling vegetables and fruits, preparing Jello and fruit salads, and mixing juices.
- Work as a team to portion out beverages and menu items into individual servings for service to residents.
- Act as a host or hostess and waitstaff in our dining room, providing exceptional service to residents.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and ensure that all necessary items are stocked.
- Assist the manager as needed and be flexible in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Knowledge of dietary principles and dietary experience is desirable, but not necessary.
- Must possess good personal hygiene.
- Must be able to work as a team in a fast-paced environment and interact with staff, residents, families, visitors, and the general public with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
