About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Datastage Developer to join our team at Syntricate Technologies Inc. As a Datastage Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Datastage and Snowflake.

  • Design and develop data pipelines using Datastage and Snowflake to integrate data from various sources
  • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data solutions
  • Perform unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure high code coverage
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools in data engineering and contribute to the growth of our team

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in data engineering involving analytics-focused data warehouse environments like Datastage and Snowflake
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, and ETL skills
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, AWS CLI, and RDS is desired
  • Intermediate knowledge of statistics and skills with exploratory data analysis using Python or R is highly desirable
