About the Role:
The Financial Planning Analyst will be instrumental in facilitating financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes. This position provides a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership and contribute to the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning. Analyze financial performance against established budgets and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations to enhance financial results. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure accurate and thorough budget submissions. Regularly monitor and update forecasts, adapting to changes in business conditions and strategic initiatives.
  • Business Partnering:
    Work with cross-functional teams to collect relevant financial and operational data. Provide financial insights and support to various departments, including sales, marketing, operations, and product development. Assist in evaluating business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, new product launches, and market expansions.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance. Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes. Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support the deployment of financial systems and tools.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA designation is advantageous. 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the technology or telecommunications sectors. Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities. Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems. Technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and engage with all organizational levels. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
