We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in the peri-operative setting, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Coordinate patient care with the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services.
- Direct and guide OR Technicians and other personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Minimum of one year previous Perioperative experience or on-the-job training at Saint Mary's.
- One year previous Cardiovascular OR experience required.
- Current and valid Nevada RN License.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
- ACLS (AHA) certification required.
