POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Applications Specialist plays a crucial role in providing guidance and training support regarding product knowledge to both internal and external customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Exhibit proficiency in therapeutic and core product offerings.

2. Conduct in-service training and provide clinical support for customers on both new and existing products.

3. Assist in evaluating new product market research trials in the field and facilitate new product launches.

4. Deliver ongoing product-related education to customers and share pertinent product information.

5. Address clinical inquiries from healthcare professionals, technicians, sales representatives, and other relevant stakeholders.

6. Collaborate with clinical and regional teams to enhance overall contributions.

7. Serve as a clinical resource for customers and sales teams regarding product-related matters.

8. Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

9. Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A Clinical Degree (RT/RN/PA) in a medical imaging or procedures-related field or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of three years of direct support in imaging-based procedures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Three years of experience in procedural-based medical environments.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to analyze feedback to enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Comprehensive understanding of coaching and development methodologies, with the capability to implement clinical or sales preparation programs related to Merit Medical Systems' products.

• Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues.

• Outstanding organizational skills and the capacity to manage large-scale programs effectively.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other relevant software applications.

• Awareness of occupational radiation exposure.
