As a key member of our supply chain optimization team, you will be responsible for optimizing supply to Loves Travel Stops and 3rd party customers, as well as identifying arbitrage opportunities along vessel, rail, and pipeline routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations, ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient delivery of refined products to our customers.
  • Arbitrage Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on arbitrage opportunities in the refined products market, maximizing profits for Loves Travel Stops & Country Store.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to stay up-to-date on market trends, prices, and supply and demand dynamics.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate market views, opinions, and strategies to the trading team and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in commodity trading, with a strong background in refined products.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the refined products market.
