About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance Department at our Carteret, NJ shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs to heavy duty trucks
  • Troubleshoot and repair brakes, air ride systems, electrical components, suspension systems, and more
  • Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and exhaust after-treatment systems
  • Inspect and replace general components as needed

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience repairing/maintaining Class 8 trucks
  • Complete set of hand tools for a heavy duty truck technician
  • Vocational or technical training in diesel or heavy-duty vehicle experience; HS diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work independently with a 'can-do' attitude
