Breakfast Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Doubletree Gainesville. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours.

• Prepare and set the buffet line to ensure a seamless breakfast experience for our guests.
• Display food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner, showcasing our hotel's attention to detail.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in the lobby/breakfast area, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, ensuring their experience is nothing short of exceptional.
• Store foods in designated areas, maintaining sanitary regulations and food temperatures.
• Bus dirty tableware, clean tables and buffet area during breakfast, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests.
• General cleaning and maintenance of food and beverage prep areas, utensils, equipment, garbage, and refrigeration in accordance with state, county, and company health regulations and work safety regulations.
• Greet each guest with a friendly smile, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, reflecting our hotel's high standards.
• Follow hotel procedures for reporting and turning in lost and found articles, demonstrating our commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments as necessary to resolve service requests or problems, showcasing our team's collaborative spirit.
• Ensure guest and associate safety by following established security procedures, including emergency procedures, key security, and protecting guest and company confidential information.
• Follow all company and safety procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Frequently check the buffet line to ensure there is an appropriate amount of food available, replenishing as needed to maintain a seamless experience.
• Remove and dispose of leftover food at the end of breakfast, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Close and clean the buffet area according to established standards, ensuring our hotel's high standards are met.
• Ensure inventory is stocked and properly stored, maintaining a well-organized and efficient kitchen.

• 1-2 years' experience working in food service, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.
• Must be available to work an early morning schedule, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
