Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using MRI equipment.
  • Prepare patients for scans and ensure their safety during the imaging process.
  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans and provide high-quality images for interpretation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
  • NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
  • Additional skills required: thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, analytical ability, and basic computer skills.
