About the Role

Tubacex Durant is seeking a skilled Logistics Planner to join our team. As a Logistics Planner, you will play a critical role in planning and establishing production, subcontracting, and shipping schedules in accordance with sales forecasts, plant/employee capacity, and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Production Schedules: Create balanced plant optimization schedules to meet customer demands while ensuring production resources are optimized.
  • Manage Raw Materials and Equipment: Determine the necessary manpower, equipment, and raw materials required to cover production demand and allocate raw materials to production orders to minimize yield.
  • Coordinate Shipping Activity: Organize and coordinate shipping activity to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor Production Operations: Monitor production operations progress and adapt plans as needed to ensure production goals are met.
  • Develop Reports and KPIs: Develop status reports, performance reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A two-year associate degree or certification in a job-related technical field, with 2-4 years of experience as a production planner in a manufacturing setting.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with capacity planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to adapt and multitask.
