We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our PACE Home Care team in South Asheville or Brevard. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our team in delivering exceptional service to our patients.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, and elimination.
- Obtain and record patient information, including vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, intake and output, and calorie counts.
- Assist patients with transfers, discharges, and use of walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs.
- Collect specimens for diagnostic or waived tests and ensure accuracy of all labels and timely transfer of specimen.
- Engage in evidence-based best practices that enhance the patient experience, including SAFETY rounding, communication fundamentals/AIDET, Teach-Back, Narrating Care, etc.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Driver's license.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
