Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Act as the functional lead for the WMS within the IT team, collaborating with operational leaders to identify and analyze requirements that will drive business process improvements. You will oversee the design, implementation, and testing of new functionalities.
- Process Design: Partner with business process leads to create and maintain comprehensive process documentation. Conduct gap analyses, assess system capabilities, and lead the selection and implementation of software solutions. Utilize your knowledge of industry best practices to ensure successful process integration across the supply chain.
- Systems Implementation: Manage software implementation projects, coordinating with business leaders and developers. Develop user training plans and ensure effective training delivery. Engage in key initiatives such as Warehouse Execution Systems and other automation upgrades, contributing to the IT strategy roadmap.
- 8-10 years of experience in business information systems or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience with Manhattan or Made4Net WMS (SaaS) systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of WMS functionalities including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes.
- Solid grasp of inventory management, quality control, and warehouse execution systems.
- Ability to analyze existing warehouse operations to identify opportunities for WMS implementation.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, particularly in warehouse management.
- Flexibility to lead projects or collaborate as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including user story creation and backlog management.
- Proficient in application support, including problem analysis and resolution.
