Job Title: Payments Product Lead - API Strategy

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to lead the development and execution of product roadmaps for our payments solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

About the Role:

  • Lead Product Roadmap Development: Collaborate with product managers, technology teams, and stakeholders to develop and execute product roadmaps that meet business objectives.
  • Prioritize Initiatives: Own prioritization of product initiatives, addressing risks and challenges to ensure timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance metrics for API usage, platform scalability, and uptime, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and incorporate feedback from API users, product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to improve API functionality and user experience.
  • Accountability: Partner with technology teams to drive accountability, setting clear expectations, tracking progress, and escalating risks or issues as needed.
  • Documentation: Ensure comprehensive API documentation is created and maintained to support ease of use for developers, implementation consultants, partners, and third-party integrators.

Requirements:

  • 6-7 years' experience: Solid track record of delivering SaaS products in the payments or eCommerce space as a product owner leading the delivery function.
  • API Expertise: Strong understanding of API development, RESTful services, and API lifecycle management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for updating stakeholders, managing expectations, and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Project Management: Experience in creating and maintaining detailed project documentation, participating in testing, and carrying out demos to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
  • Scaled Agile Framework: Experience working on Scaled Agile Framework.

Additional Requirements:

  • Internal/External Meetings: Participation in both internal meetings and external meetings via video calls, as necessary.
  • Onsite Work: Ability to go into corporate or client offices to work onsite, as necessary.
  • Work Environment: Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer, as necessary.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead, as necessary.
  • Vision Abilities: Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment, as necessary.
  • Business Travel: For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance, ability to lift 25 lbs, as necessary.
  • Driver's License: For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance, a valid driver's license, as necessary.
