We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Resource Nurse to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate unit education and training programs for perioperative staff
- Develop and implement strategies to improve perioperative efficiency and patient outcomes
- Serve as a clinical resource for perioperative staff and provide guidance on best practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Three years of experience as a registered nurse in an operating room setting
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certification
- Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
